Ovilis Enzovax 40ml (20 doses) is a critical live, attenuated vaccine specifically formulated for breeding female sheep. It provides active immunization to prevent abortion and stillbirth caused by Chlamydophila abortus infection (Enzootic Abortion of Ewes - EAE), a major cause of lambing losses. A single 2ml subcutaneous or intramuscular dose, given at least 4 weeks before mating, establishes robust immunity. Revaccination is recommended every two years. Crucially, this vaccine should NOT be used in pregnant animals, and a 7-day meat withdrawal period applies. Effective Enzovax vaccination is key to a healthy and productive ewe flock.
