Hitet 120 Injectable

Hitet 120 is an injectable antibiotic solution containing Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 120 mg/ml. As a short-acting tetracycline, it provides effective treatment for a variety of bacterial infections in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and horses.

It is commonly used to combat:

Tick-borne diseases: Gallsickness (Anaplasmosis) and Heartwater.

Respiratory infections: Pneumonia.

Localized infections: Footrot, Navel ill, Joint ill.

Specific equine conditions: Strangles in horses.

Hitet 120 can be administered either intramuscularly or intravenously (slowly). For intramuscular injections, no more than 25 ml should be given at any one site. The recommended dose is typically 2 ml per 30 kg body mass, repeated daily as required.
