Bef-Tect- Drie Dae Stywe Siekte

Bef-Tect is a live vaccine for cattle against Bovine Ephemeral Fever (BEF), known as "Drie Dae Stywe Siekte" (Three-Day Stiff Sickness). This viral disease causes fever, stiffness, and lameness.

The vaccine contains weakened BEF virus and is given as a 2 mL subcutaneous injection. Cattle need a booster 3-4 weeks after the first dose, followed by annual revaccination. It's safe for pregnant cows and aims to prevent significant production losses caused by the disease.
